The third and final T20I in the ongoing IND vs AUS series is going to take place at the Sydney Cricket Ground with limited attendance on Tuesday. After performing poorly in the initial test matches and losing the ODI series, the Men in Blue have bounced back with two wins in the first two matches of the series. This means that Tuesday’s match won’t have any impact on the outcome of the series as India already has an unassailable 2-0 lead. While Australia would like to gain some pride back and avoid a clean sweep, India would be looking to impose its will on the series and complete a whitewash. Even though David Warner and Aaron finch missed Sunday’s rubber, the Aussies put on a good show. Matthew Wade is expected to continue his stellar form and help the home team in salvaging some pride. The pitch had very little to offer to the fast bowlers in terms of swing and bounce, so they will have to rely on change of pace to have any significant impact. The shorter boundary means that there will be a lot of runs and anything below 170-180 shouldn’t be considered a competitive total. Winning the toss and electing to field seems like the way to go.
